About the Role

The primary objective of WorkPac’s Business Centre network is to attract and retain a suitable candidate pool to place into available positions with our coveted and ever-growing client base.

Central to achieving this objective, the role of the Recruitment Coordinator is to recruit such appropriate personnel in accordance with client requirements, as outlined in the job orders assigned by the Business Development Manager.

The Opportunity

An opportunity now exists for a motivated, success driven individual to join our Hunter Valley Business Centre as Recruitment Coordinator.

This very successful operation services both corporate and retail clients and has an enviable reputation for excellence in all facets of its operations.

Reporting to the Recruitment Coordinator Team Leader (or relevant manager), you will receive ongoing mentoring and support. The role offers genuine opportunities for advancement within a company that is keen to reward loyalty and effort.

Tasks include (but are not limited to):

  • Complete the candidate registration process.
  • Reference check all candidates to build a strong history of performance.
  • Conduct job interviews with candidates.
  • Submit suitable candidates to Business Development Managers for placement.
  • Source new candidates (through referrals and other marketing initiatives).
  • Co-ordinate pre-employment medical requirements (including medical, drug screen, lead tests).
  • Assist in the prompt return to work of injured work placements if/when necessary.
  • Ongoing data entry and record keeping.
  • Assist work placements with any employment challenges.
  • Attend and actively participate in all relevant Business Centre Meetings.
  • Ensure all placed candidates comply with all WorkPac Occupational Health and Safety systems and standards. 

Desired Experience/Skills

  • Ability to establish, maintain and grow positive working relationships with co-workers.
  • Experience in a similar role (desirable but not essential).
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills.
  • Exposure to database applications (desirable but not essential).
  • Exposure to Occupational Health and Safety Systems and Procedures.
  • Motivation and drive to grow a business.
  • Proven commitment to continuous improvement and ongoing learning.
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Professional presentation and communication skills

Remuneration
