Are You a High Performance Credit Controller Seeking a Change?

An exceptional career opportunity for a Credit Controller now exists. Reporting to the Head of Credit based in our Service Centre Fortitude Valley, this position requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and a proactive team player. This is a 6 month contract role with the possibility of permanency as business requirements grow.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of and manage the cash collection of a portfolio of Blue Chip clients within the agreed credit terms. You must be extremely client focused having the ability to build strong internal and external relationships, resilient, and team oriented to achieve targets set by Head of Credit. Your key tasks include but are not limited to;

  • Act within appropriate credit policies and procedures to ensure invoices are paid within terms

  • Ensure purchase order numbers are consolidated

  • Participate in regular review meetings and advise Head of Credit on progress on portfolio

  • Working to tight deadlines in order to achieve monthly collection targets set

  • Ensure invoices are sent out inclusive of all information required by client

Required Experience

If you can demonstrate experience/success and possess the following behaviours, knowledge and skills in the following areas, we want to hear from you:

  • Minimum 2 years Credit Control experience

  • Demonstrable corporate credit success and knowledge of standard credit processes, policies, procedures and contracts

  • Intermediate computer skills with advanced excel knowledge.

  • Strong attention to detail to ensure data integrity

  • Ability to establish, maintain and enhance positive internal and external relationships

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Dealing with, responding and resolving client queries in a timely manner

  • KPI and Target driven with a flexible attitude to achieving results

  • Well organised with the ability to prioritise workloads.

  • The ability to remain calm under pressure with a strong work ethic
