Whitehaven Coal is Australia's largest independent coal producer and the leading coal producer in Northwest New South Wales.

About the role

We are seeking Multi Skilled Operators with previous mining experience to join our production crew at a local Open Cut coal mine in the Gunnedah Basin.

What you will be doing:

You will be operating one or more of the following machines:

• Watercarts CAT 777D, 773E

• D10, D11, 475, Wheel Dozer 854 Dozers

• 16M & 24M Graders

• CAT 992, KOM WA1200 Wheel Loaders

• Hitachi EX3600, EX5600 & EX8000 Excavators

• CAT 789s, Hitachi EH3500, & EH5000 Trucks

What you will need:

• 12 months production mining experience operating Haul Trucks, Dozers, Excavators or Graders

• Verification of Competencies to validate previous operating experience essential

• Australian Driver's Licence

• Right to Work in Australia

• Residential address located within 1hrs drive to Boggabri

Benefits:

Multi-Skilled Operators $57.10 per hour earn up to $152K per year (including below allowances)

Excavator Operators $57.10 per hour - up to $164k per year (including below allowances)

Hourly allowances paid in addition to your rate:

• Allowance 1 = $5 per hour paid weekly

• Allowance 2 = $5 per hour paid quarterly

• Excavator Operators receive an additional $5 per hour allowance paid weekly

Superannuation paid on all rostered hours
