The safety of our people is our first priority, we strive to ensure safe work environments for all. Injuries can happen in the workplace, so it is important that you notify us immediately to ensure you receive the appropriate support.
If you are injured, you must notify your site supervisor and your WorkPac representative as soon as possible to ensure you receive any first aid or medical treatment required and the incident location is made safe.
If you are injured after hours, please report to our call centre (1300 967 572).
It is also important to obtain a medical certificate if you are assessed by a medical practitioner, so that our Injury Management Team can determine what capacity you will have to perform your role and ensure a worker’s compensation claim is lodged where applicable, and ensure you are paid correctly if you require any time off or incur medical expenses. Without the medical certificate, your claim cannot be processed and could interrupt pay cycles.
Depending on the nature of your injury you may be required to participate in a graduated return to work or suitable duties program. This will be coordinated by the WorkPac Injury Management team.
