Do you know the correct procedure to follow if you're injured on site?

​Injuries can and do happen in the workplace, so it is important that you are aware of and understand the correct procedure as well as your responsibilities should you be injured on site.

If an injury occurs, you are to notify both your site based supervisor and your WorkPac representative as soon as possible from the time of the injury but MUST be prior to end of shift.  Once you have reported the injury to us an incident investigation is completed as well as any appropriate Workers Compensation forms if applicable, without this you may not be paid. We have a responsibility to manage all injuries to our employees and cannot do this if we do not know about you being injured. Prompt reporting is vital.

Depending on the nature of your injury you may be required to visit a WorkPac medical provider as well as rehabilitation.  The WorkPac Injury Management team will assist and manage you through this process.
