Chief Executive Officer
Hamish Griffin was appointed CEO of WorkPac in 2020, having originally joined as Group General Manager in 2012. Along with WorkPac’s Executive Team, Hamish executes the Group's strategic plan - working with people to expand their access to employment and build their careers, while ensuring WorkPac delivers its commercial commitments.
During his tenure with WorkPac, Hamish has led the negotiation, award and delivery of some of the largest workforce services contracts in Australia. These contracts have positioned WorkPac as one of Australia’s largest employers, with Hamish’s leadership directly contributing to the company’s cumulative growth from $350M to the $1.4B business it is today.
Hamish has been actively involved in several key initiatives for WorkPac, including a national indigenous employment program which now has the Group’s workforce sitting at just over 8% First Nation people, and WorkPac becoming one of Australia’s largest employers of trainees and apprentices in the mining and construction industries.
Prior to joining WorkPac, Hamish was Queensland Construction Manager for Nilsen, one of Australia’s largest privately owned electrical contracting companies.
