About the Client
Our client is a tier 1 mining company with a portfolio of world-class competitive mining operations that provide the metals and minerals that enable a cleaner, more electrified world and that meet the fast growing consumer-driven demands of the worlds developed and maturing economies.
What you will be doing
Working as an Accounts Payable Officer you will assist with managing the end accounts payable process on a weekly basis for a busy mining company. You will help processing statutory and ad hoc payments,, purchase order and non- order invoice processing, knowledge through GST concepts and how GST is a applied, youll also play a key role in ensuring accuracy and compliance. This challenging role requires a committed, effective and positive person to join a dynamic team who deal with a high volume of work.

What you will need
To excel in this role, youll need 3+ years of high-volume, full-function accounts experience, advanced Microsoft Excel and SAP skills, and a strong understanding of the mining sector is highly regarded.
- Experience Using SAP AP
- Working within SAP purchase order and non- order invoice processing
- Good Receipt and Invoice Receipt knowledge
- Knowledge through GST concepts and how GST is a applied
- Prior experience in mining is desirable but not essential
- 3+ years working with a high volume accounts team.
