About the role:
WorkPac is seeking a Contracts Officer to join our client for a 6 month duration. Opportunities exist for skilled and experienced contract officers who will form part of and contribute to the Mine Operations Department of a Bowen Basin Mine.
An absolute commitment to working safely, complying with all site safety standards and ensuring a safe and environmentally healthy workplace is essential. It is imperative that you possess the ability and aptitude to maintain high standards of safety, equipment serviceability, housekeeping and compliance with mine working procedures.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Weekly and Monthly CMF reporting EOM compliance, Data for S&P meeting, vendor engagement
- Coordinating contractor owner appointments
- Maintain CMF systems workflow tool
- Maintaining Contracts Sharepoint page
- iAuditor CMF champion for department managing access and maintain templates with required updates
- Reviewing vendor job cards submitted to support the specialist within the team
- Coordination of outgoing vendor communication and doc control
- Carry out the duties as outlined in the Contractor Management Framework.
- Schedule, facilitate, record mobilisation, safety, and performance and close out meetings required under CMF routines.
- Monitor, support and sustain contract partners compliance to the PDM Safety and Health Management System.
- Conduct in-field verifications
Skills and Experience Required:
- Experienced in MS Office Suite with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and part of a team
- Ability to organise and manage competing demands and priorities
- Documentum, Tempo, SharePoint, and SAP
- Experience in auditing and compliance management
- Understanding of the Sites Safety Health Management System
