About the Role
An exciting opportunity is available for an Administrative and Accounts Officer to join our clients team in a part-time capacity. This role involves performing a variety of administrative and financial duties, including accounts processing, payroll management, answering phone calls, and general office support. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and experience in office administration within a small business or mechanical/industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Prepare and process weekly payroll and maintain employee records.
- Handle incoming phone calls and customer enquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document management.
- Support day-to-day office operations to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication across the team.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all administrative and financial records.
Skills and Experience Required
- Previous experience in administration, accounts, or payroll roles.
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- A professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude.
