About our client:
Our client is a locally owned and operated door specialist based in Mackay, with over 20 years of industry experience. They supply, install and service a wide range of internal, external and garage doors for both residential and commercial customers. Known for their personalised service and end-to-end solutions, they deliver expert advice from measure and quote through to installation, repairs and ongoing support.
What you will be doing:
- Providing administrative support to the office and wider team
- Assisting with data entry, invoicing and document processing
- Supporting sales activities, with on-the-job training provided for future sales responsibilities
- Liaising with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Maintaining accurate records and assisting with general office duties
- Supporting business operations within a building and construction environment
What you will need:
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Previous experience in an administration role
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and tight timeframes.
- Experience with invoicing, data entry, and general administrative paperwork.
- Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with confidence in answering phones and liaising with multiple stakeholders.
- A proactive and team-focused attitude, with the ability to adapt to changing operational requirements.
