About the role:
WorkPac is seeking an Maintenance Administration Officer to join our client for a 3 month duration. This is a perfect opportunity to get your foot in the door in the mining industry. The administrator will provide support and help manage the operation's team whilst collaborating with the employees and other colleagues.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Draft MOP updates
- Updating the documents and submitting to the doc controller in safety for publishing.
- Compile standard task instructions based on JRAs provided by the maintenance areas.
- Recording maintenance activities in databases or systems
- Generating reports on equipment performance, downtime, and maintenance costs.
- Ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Coordinating with supplier's for the procurement of parts and equipment.
Skills and Experience Required:
- An outstanding communicator, friendly, approachable with an outgoing and positive 'can do' attitude
- Have a high degree of computer literacy, strong attention to detail and initiative
- Be highly organised and able to prioritise work
- Intermediate user in Office 365 (Excel, Word, Publisher, PowerPoint etc.)
- Have an open-door policy and making yourself available for all queries
- Minimum of 12 months administration experience or experience in a similar position
