About Our Client:

Our client is a well-established business with a busy branch operation, providing quality products and service to both trade and retail customers.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Administration & Customer Service Officer looking to develop their administration and customer service skills within a supportive team environment.

The successful candidate will commence on a casual basis with WorkPac, with the potential to transition into a permanent position after approximately six months.

Training will be provided to the right candidate, making this a great opportunity for someone looking to start or develop their career in administration, customer service or a trade counter environment.

 

What You Will Be Doing:

As an Administration & Customer Service Officer, you will be responsible for providing front-line customer service and administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the branch.

 

Your duties will include:

Answering incoming phone calls and directing enquiries to the appropriate team members

Providing front-line customer service and support to trade and retail customers

Assisting customers at the trade counter with product enquiries and order processing

Entering and maintaining accurate data within internal systems

Raising purchase orders and processing administrative documentation

Liaising with suppliers to obtain pricing, product availability and estimated delivery timeframes (ETAs)

Supporting the branch team with general administration duties

Maintaining accurate customer records and filing systems

Assisting with inventory, order tracking and follow-up activities as required

Providing general administrative and customer service support to ensure the smooth operation of the branch

 

What You Will Need:

Strong communication and customer service skills

Good computer literacy and the ability to learn new systems

High attention to detail and strong organisational skills

Positive attitude with a willingness to learn

Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team

Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Strong administrative and organisational skills

Professional and friendly approach when dealing with customers and suppliers

Ability to follow processes and maintain accurate records

Previous administration, customer service, retail, hospitality or trade counter experience will be highly regarded

 

The client is open to a range of backgrounds and is willing to provide training for the right person. This is a great opportunity for entry-level candidates looking to start a career in administration or customer service, as well as candidates with previous administration, customer service, retail, hospitality or trade counter experience.

7:30am - 4:00pm roster

1 hour paid lunch break
