About The Client
Our client is a Queensland-based provider of civil contracting, haulage, plant hire, materials supply and construction services, supporting commercial and major infrastructure projects across the state. With more than 30 years of industry experience, the business combines an experienced workforce, extensive heavy-vehicle and plant fleet, specialist civil capabilities and strong local relationships to deliver reliable, efficient project outcomes.
What You Will Be Doing
Our client is currently seeking a skilled Vehicle Allocator based in Brendale to conduct safe and efficient allocations of resources.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Manage the allocation & scheduling of driver fleet
- Monitoring progress of the drivers
- Checking off drivers runs sheet
- Report and investigate missed services (system based)
- Completing daily reports
- Completing fatigue compliance and audits
- Improve safety by actively providing feedback to drivers and supervisors
- Ensure vehicle conditions are maintained to company standard by implementing regular interior and exterior vehicle inspections
- Ensure operators are appropriately presented including uniforms and PPE requirements.
Shift Structure
Monday Friday; split shifts. 5am-1pm & 8am-4pm alternating each day.
Must be flexible to work every second Saturday if required.
What You Will Need
- Drivers Licence + reliable transport
- Previous experience in a vehicle/fleet dispatch or scheduling position
- Strong communication skills and ability to communicate effectively
- A strong focus on health and safety
- High attention to detail and problem solving focused
