About the Client:

Rio Tinto Operates the world's largest integrated portfolio of iron ore assets. These assets include a world-class, integrated network of 15 iron ore mines, four port facilities, a 1,700-kilometre rail network and related infrastructure. Rio Tinto are expanding operations in the Pilbara to epic proportions while introducing next generation technologies to deliver greater efficiency, lower production costs and improved health, safety, and environmental performance.

About the Role:

WorkPac is currently in search of an Analyst Specification to join our esteemed client's team, based in the Perth. This position is Monday to Friday, full time hours.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Write and update LME technical specifications and risk assessments.
• Liaise with stakeholders and vendors to ensure fit-for-purpose equipment design.
• Manage document control and approvals in the IMS system.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and safety regulations.
• Review equipment performance and conformance to specifications.
• Support standardisation and continuous improvement of equipment specifications.

Skills and Experience:

• Experience with mining equipment or light vehicles.
• Strong technical writing skills, especially with specification documents.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.
• Good understanding of Australian standards and mobile equipment design rules.
• Ability to read and interpret technical and general arrangement drawings.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent time management and ability to work independently or in a team.
