About Our Client
A leading construction materials company, providing high-quality products and services to the building and construction industries, are currently seeking skilled Labourers with asphalt experience to join their team in Townsville.
What You Will Be Doing
You will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, laying, and finishing of asphalt on roadways and other surfaces. This may include operating Skid Steers, HR vehicles, preparing surfaces, and labour intensive tasks. The roles requires attention to detail, physical fitness, high safety standards, and a high level of reliability as shifts may vary.
What You Will Need
- White Card
- Absolute commitment to reliability
- Experience working with asphalt
- MR/HR Driver's Licence (highly regarded)
- Roller or Skid Steer ticket (highly regarded)
- Available for night shift (mandatory)
- Minimum 'C' class Licence
- Ability to pass a Pre-employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol screening
- Provide a current National Police Clearance
- Safety competency
