About Our Client:
Our client is a leading provider of integrated road construction, surfacing and maintenance solutions across Australia. With a strong reputation for safety, innovation and delivery excellence, involved in major infrastructure projects ranging from highways and arterial roads to local council and commercial works.
Roster:
Monday to Friday 7am 4pm (some night work)
What you will be doing:
- Operating HC vehicles to support spray seal, bitumen spraying and road construction activities
- Transporting materials, equipment and bitumen to and from worksites safely and efficiently
- Assisting with spray seal and asphalt operations as required on site
- Conducting daily prestart checks, basic maintenance and ensuring vehicles are kept in a safe, roadworthy condition
- Working closely with crew members to ensure jobs are completed safely, on time and to quality standards
- Adhering to all WHS, environmental and traffic management requirements
- Working outdoors in varying weather conditions across regional and metro locations
- Being flexible to work overtime, weekends, night shifts, and travel or stay away from home when required
What you will need:
- HR or HC Licence (essential)
- Dangerous Goods Licence or willingness to obtain
- Experience in truck driving, ideally within spray seal, bitumen spraying or road construction environments (desirable)
- Construction Induction (White) Card
- Strong commitment to safety, reliability and teamwork
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, night shifts, and to travel or stay away when required
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to support crew operations
