About Our Client

Our leading global mining client is proud to be a leading Australian producer of premium quality hard coking coal for export steel markets within Central Queensland's Bowen Basin, with additional joint ventures in steel making coal, copper and manganese across Northwest Queensland and Western Australia. What you will be Doing

You will be working as an Auto Electrician within the Maintenance Department on a coal mine based in the Middlemount region. You will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, attending to break downs, service and repair of mobile plant and ancillary equipment. You will need to be competent maintaining and entering detailed notifications in SAP. You will be working a Wednesday to Tuesday rotating day and night roster. These roles are available to BIBO (Rockhampton & Mackay), DIDO and residential candidates.

What you will need

• Previous experience working as an Auto Electrician within a coal mining setting.

• Previous experience completing break downs, service & repairs of mobile plant and ancillary equipment.

• Australian Trade Qualification

• You will need to have obtained a Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical within last 2 years or be willing to attain this.

• SSE signed skills list, Current Drivers Licence & right to work in Australia
