What you will be doing
Our client is looking for FIFO Auto Electricians for 2/1 rosters to work at sites in the Pilbara. The role involves traveling to the site on Thursday mornings, working a week of days and nights, and returning home the following Thursday. This position offers a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate. Key responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing electrical issues in vehicles and heavy machinery, performing routine maintenance, installing and upgrading electrical systems, conducting inspections and tests, and adhering to safety regulations. Additionally, you will maintain accurate service records, collaborate with team members, provide emergency support as needed, and ensure proper care of tools and equipment. As the sole Auto Electrician on the team, it is crucial that you are a confident decision-maker and skilled in your trade.
