 WorkPac are currently seeking FIFO Auto Electricians on a 2/1 roster, working 12 hr dayshifts only and between $80 - $90 per hour.

About the Client

Our client is a team of specialised mechanics brings extensive experience across a wide range of heavy-duty industrial vehicles. They handle everything from complex truck repairs to servicing earthmovers, forklifts, Land Cruisers and larger rigs. The workshop is equipped to work on multiple major manufacturers, including Isuzu, Mitsubishi, Hino, Iveco and Allison Transmission, ensuring reliable maintenance and repair solutions across diverse fleet requirements.

What You Will Be Doing

• Carrying out electrical diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on heavy mobile mining equipment
• Working on major OEMs including Hitachi, Liebherr and Bucyrus machinery
• Completing air-conditioning servicing and repairs (if ticketed)
• Performing workshop-based tasks
• Supporting the team with general auto-electrical duties across a wide range of equipment

What You Will Need

• Australian-recognised Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology
• Air-conditioning ticket and experience (preferred)
• Experience working on heavy mobile mining equipment
• HR drivers licence (advantageous)
• High Risk Work Licence EWP, DG (desirable)
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a workshop environment
