About Our Client

Our client extracts biogas from landfills and converts it into renewable energy at more than 35 bioenergy facilities across Australia, New Zealand and the United States. They are at the forefront of methane abatement and renewable energy solutions.

What You Will Be Doing:

Working Monday Friday with 7AM starts & 8 hour days, you will be starting your day in Yatala & then heading to various landfill sites across the Gold Coast & Brisbane. Your duties will include;

• Prepare, install and maintain biogas and leachate systems across landfill sites
• Perform servicing, repairs and adjustments to biogas infrastructure and associated equipment.
• Monitor, balance and troubleshoot biogas wells, identifying blockages or system inefficiencies.
• Install biogas wells following drilling operations, including manifolds, flow lines and J-traps.
• Complete butt welding and electrofusion welding as required for system installations.
• Complete all required documentation, field notes and compliance records accurately.

What You Will Need:

• Drivers Licence + reliable transport
• Physically fit to safely perform field-based duties in outdoor and hazardous environments.
• Experience or willingness to be trained in landfill gas, biogas or related technical fieldwork.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn technical systems quickly.
• Ability to use tools, equipment and instruments such as laser levels, welding gear and monitoring devices.
• Experience in butt welding
