About Our Client:

About the Role
Join Rio Tintos pioneering team at the state-of-the-art Gudai-Darri mine site, where innovation, collaboration, and safety are at the forefront of operations. We are seeking motivated and safety-conscious Blast Crew Operators to support our Drill and Blast team in achieving operational excellence.
This role offers a family-friendly roster with 8 days on, 6 days off, followed by 7 nights on, 7 off, ensuring optimal work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely execute blast preparation tasks, including stemming, priming, and loading blast holes.
- Operate MPU units for ANFO and pumpable products.
- Maintain compliance with explosive handling regulations and ensure proper housekeeping of magazines and vehicles.
- Collaborate with the team to meet productivity targets while adhering to safety standards.
What Youll Bring
- A strong commitment to safety as the top priority.
- Experience in open-pit mining environments or similar roles.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Tickets and Licences
- Valid Australian C Class manual drivers license (or higher).
- Dangerous Goods Security Card
