About Our Client

Our client is a well-established engineering and maintenance services provider supporting the mining, resources, and heavy industrial sectors across Queensland. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality workmanship and reliable solutions, they specialise in shutdowns, maintenance, and fabrication services.

What You Will Be Doing

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and abrasive blasting
• Remove rust, scale, grease, and old coatings from equipment and structures
• Operate sandblasting and painting equipment safely and efficiently
• Apply protective coatings and industrial paint using spray guns, brushes, or rollers
• Mix paints and coatings to the correct colour and consistency
• Ensure coatings are applied to required thickness and quality standards
• Maintain and clean tools, equipment, and work areas
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements in industrial environments
• Inspect completed work and carry out touch-ups if needed
• Work from drawings, specifications, or instructions

What You Will Need

• Minimum 3 years Industry Experience
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment checks
• Trade Certification
• Drivers Licence
• White Card
• Confined Space is desirable
• Working at Heights is desirable
• Hay Point induction is desirable
