Rio Tinto are expanding operations in the Pilbara to epic proportions while introducing next generation technologies to deliver greater efficiency, lower production costs and improved health, safety, and environmental performance.
About the Position
As a Cost Analyst, you will work 3 days per week, providing cost control and financial support to the AutoHaul project team. This includes handling cost reporting, SAP transactions, and supplier claims.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Analyse costs across approximately 20 contractors and suppliers
- Review and verify claims submitted by contractors
- Monitor and report on SAP financial transactions
- Prepare cost reports for internal stakeholders
Skills and Experience Required
- Experience in cost control or accounting support roles
- Proficient in SAP and accounting systems
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- Understanding of project controls (advantageous)
