About Client
Client provides the finest quality meat produce, service and advice to Mackay, the Whitsundays and surrounding mining communities in Queensland.
What you will be doing:
We are looking for Butcher in and around Mackay to work on different rosters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide operational support to Store Managers across both store locations, ensuring smooth day-to-day performance.
- Deliver high-quality standards in all aspects of meat preparation, including trimming, cutting, packing, and merchandising for both orders and displays.
- Manage inventory levels, place supply orders, and ensure effective stock rotation to minimize waste and maintain freshness.
- Enforce hygiene and food safety protocols in compliance with Safefood standards.
Skills and Abilities:
- Must have experience as a Butcher
- Certificate III in Meat Processing or related Qualification
