These are ongoing roles and are available for residential, DIDO and BIBO candidates. Camp and meals with leading facilities provided.

ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Middlemount Mine is an open-cut mine located approximately 90km north-east of Emerald and some 7km west of the township of Middlemount in Queensland's Bowen Basin. The mine produces semi-hard coking coal and medium-volatile pulverized coal injection (PCI) coal for the export market. Mining operations consist primarily of excavator and truck and excavator mining augmented by cast and doze.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Multi Skilled Operators:

In this role you will be operating Haul Truck and 2 x ancillary (Dozer, Grader, Loader) within an open cut coal mine.

Singled Skilled Operators

In this role you will be operating CAT 789, 793 or 797 Haul trucks.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• At least 12 months mining experience as a Multiskilled Production Operator within a Coal Mining setting.
• You will need to have obtained a Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical within last 2 years or be willing to attain this.
• SSE signed skills list, Current Drivers License & right to work in Australia
• The ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical Assessment & Drug and Alcohol test prior to commencement
