About Our Client
Middlemount Coal Mine is located approximately 90 kilometres north-east of Emerald and some 7 kilometres west of the township of Middlemount in Queenslands Bowen Basin. Middlemount Coal Mine is an open-cut coal mine which uses conventional truck and shovel methods. Middlemount commenced its full-scale operations in November 2011 with a current mine life expectancy estimated to be more than 20 years.
What you will be Doing
Operating heavy equipment including;
- CAT 789, 793, 794 & 797 Haul Trucks
- CAT 777 & 785 Water Trucks
- CAT D10 & D11 Dozers
- CAT 980 Loaders
- CAT 16/18/24 Graders
- Maintain safety and productivity standards
- Perform pre-start checks and basic maintenance
What you will need
- Proven mining experience operating multiple pieces of equipment, including:
- CAT 789, 793, 794 & 797 Haul Trucks
- CAT 777 & 785 Water Trucks
- CAT D10 & D11 Dozers
- CAT 980 Loaders
- CAT 16/18/24 Graders
- Current Signed Transcript
- Current Coal Board Medical and Standard 11
- Ability to complete an instant Drug & Alcohol screen (within 14 days of site induction)
- Valid Drivers License
