About Our Client

Our client operates a well-established container processing and recycling service supporting the Perth community. With a strong focus on customer service, accurate processing, and efficient operations, they are seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join their team in Perth. This is an ongoing casual opportunity suited to someone who genuinely wants to work, enjoys being part of a team, and is looking for consistent casual employment rather than a short-term position.

What you will be Doing

We are seeking reliable and motivated individuals to assist with the day-to-day operation of a busy container processing site. You will initially work a couple of shifts per week while learning the role, with the opportunity to increase your hours and take on additional shifts as you become more experienced.

During busier periods, particularly over summer, there may be opportunities to work up to five shifts per week, with total hours generally capped at approximately 1215 hours per week.

Duties include:

• Receiving and processing eligible containers
• Accurately counting and sorting containers
• Assisting customers with container drop-offs and enquiries
• Operating site equipment as required following appropriate training
• Maintaining accurate counts and records
• Keeping the work area clean, organised, and safe
• Following workplace health and safety procedures
• Working effectively as part of a team
• Providing friendly and professional customer service
• Assisting with general site duties as required

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfortable with counting and handling large quantities of containers
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Willingness to learn new processes and procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility and willingness to accept additional shifts when available
• Genuine interest in securing ongoing casual employment
