What you will be doing
Reporting to the commercial advisor and procurement team, your primary purpose will be focused on data collection and analysis, with a focus on market intelligence, spend and supplier performance. You will assist to ensure compliance with safety, health, and sustainability standards within purchasing activities. Key responsibilities include adhering to critical tasks, performance targets, and budgets, supporting supplier management and commercial agreements, and driving inclusive procurement and sustainability initiatives. Data analysis, stakeholder engagement and the ability to work in a flexible, virtual environment are essential.
What you will need
To be successful in this role, you will need strong analytical skills to conduct data collection and analysis, particularly for market intelligence, spend, and supplier performance. You must have solid knowledge of contract and sourcing processes, including contract amendments, performance management, and reporting on KPIs. A commitment to safety and sustainability is essential, ensuring that purchasing activities comply with relevant standards and mitigating risks. Effective communication and stakeholder management is key, as the role involves collaboration with internal teams, external partners, and suppliers. You will need to be adaptable and flexible, changing environment while maintaining a focus on continuous improvement.
You will need to have experiencing using the following:
- Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook for document creation, analysis, communication, and collaboration.
- ERP Systems: Such as SAP, SAP, Ariba, supplier management, and financial operations.
