$44p/h + penalties + allowances
WorkPac are seeking an experienced Leading Hand for a waste management company.
About Our Client
Our client have been managing waste for South Australian councils, businesses and members for over 50 years.
What You Will Be Doing
Oversees daily operations within the composting facility, ensuring effective processing of organic materials into high quality compost.
Lead and supervise team of compost operators, providing direction, training and support.
Schedule and allocate tasks among team members to ensure efficient operation of composting process.
Monitoring team performance, providing feedback and addressing any issues that arise.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
What You Will Need
Experience in composting, waste management, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory / leading hand role.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Strong background in operating and maintaining composting equipment.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Physically fit and ability to lift and carry heavy materials
