About the role
WorkPac is seeking a skilled Condition Monitoring Engineer to join our client at South Flank. In this role, you will focus on identifying and forecasting potential equipment failures and deterioration to ensure efficient operations, minimize downtime, and optimize maintenance efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced vibration analysis.
- Manage and maintain the AMS machinery health database.
- Monitor and optimize rotating and vibrating equipment performance.
- Collaborate with condition monitoring teams to enhance equipment reliability.
- Support startup activities for smooth commissioning.
- Apply engineering expertise to refine condition monitoring practices.
- Generate technical reports and recommend proactive maintenance actions.
Skills and Experience Required
- Engineering or Technical Degree (Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or similar) or equivalent experience.
- Vibration ISO 18436-3 Cat 2.
- Proven experience in condition monitoring of rotating and vibrating equipment.
- Startup experience is an asset.
- Proficient in managing AMS machinery health databases.
- Experience working with condition monitoring teams.
- Strong technical expertise in machinery health monitoring techniques.
- SAP experience is desired but not necessary.
