About the Client
Our client is a major government-owned energy provider with a diverse portfolio of generation assets, including thermal, wind, solar, and hybrid systems across Western Australia. Their Generation Business Unit plans and delivers vital construction and infrastructure projects that support the states energy future.
About the Role
WorkPac are seeking a Construction Officer to support the successful delivery of energy generation and infrastructure projects across WA. The role will work closely with project managers and other key stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and within budget. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to Western Australias renewable energy transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, and execution activities
- Monitor and report on project progress and performance
- Manage project documentation and communications
- Support procurement, contractor management, and project submissions
- Coordinate project resources and ensure compliance with site access and safety requirements
- Assist with commissioning activities and project handover processes
- Maintain financial records including invoices, accruals, and payment claims
- Ensure governance, risk, and change management processes are followed
Skills and Experience Required
- Previous experience supporting project delivery in construction, infrastructure, or energy
- Strong organisational and time management skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Office and project management systems
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively within a team
- Sound understanding of safety, compliance, and governance processes
