About the Position

We are seeking a motivated Contracts Administrator to support the successful delivery of key projects over a 6-month contract based in Jandakot, with occasional site travel required. In this role, you will work closely with Project Managers and site teams to manage contract administration, variations, claims, and cost control, ensuring strong commercial outcomes across all project activities. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced project environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy, compliance, and stakeholder collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer project contracts, variations, subcontractor agreements, and related commercial documentation.
  • Monitor project costs, progress claims, budgets, and financial performance to support accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Prepare and review contract correspondence, claims, and variations while ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Support Project Managers through procurement assistance, site engagement, and maintaining accurate project records.

 

Skills and Experience Required

  • 35 years experience in contract administration within the construction or mining industry.
  • Strong understanding of contract management processes, including variations, claims, and subcontractor agreements.
  • Excellent financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
