About the client
Our client has over 20 years of experience delivering high end residential and mixed use developments across Australia. They specialise in creating designed homes, master planned communities and large-scale urban regeneration projects. They work closely with investors, government bodies, and local partners to deliver projects that enhance the surrounding environment and provide long-term value.
What You Will Be Doing
As a tower crane operator, you will be working on a large-scale construction project in West End starting 01/05 15/05, operating a hammerhead crane to support daily site operations. You will play a role in ensuring materials are lifted and moved safely and efficiently across site while maintaining strict adherence to safety. Your duties will include:
- Operating a hammerhead tower crane on a construction site
- Coordinating lifts with dogmen, riggers and site teams
- Conducting pre-start checks and inspections
- Ensuring safe load handling and placement
- Following site plans and lift schedules
- Maintaining clear communication with ground crew
- Adhering to all site safety procedures and regulations
Skills and Knowledge Required
- Demonstrated experience operating hammerhead tower cranes on construction sites
- Strong understanding of site safety and lifting procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-risk environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong awareness and attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
What You Will Need
- C6 High Risk Work Licence
- White Card
- Drivers Licence with reliable transport
- Proven experience operating tower cranes
