What You Will Be Doing
As an Administration/ Customer Service Officer, you will join a collaborative and detail-oriented team, playing a vital role in ensuring seamless operations and excellent customer interactions. You will be required to work 8am-4pm Monday to Friday.
Your responsibilities will include providing outstanding customer service, managing bookings, addressing inquiries and supporting the team with various administrative tasks. You will work closely with customers and internal teams, ensuring accurate data management, on-time communication, and first-class service delivery. Key duties include:
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients through exceptional customer service.
- Handling customer inquiries and resolving issues effectively.
- Managing bookings and tracking freight schedules.
- Performing administrative tasks, including maintaining accurate data and records.
- Collaborating with internal departments to ensure smooth processes.
- Prioritizing workload during busy periods to meet deadlines.
- Acting as a problem-solver by identifying and implementing process improvements.
What You Will Need
- Proven customer service and administration experience preferably in the logistics/transport industry (advantageous)
- Previous experience using systems such as Microsoft Office Suite, and freight software platforms.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- The ability to work well independently and in a collaborative team environment.
- Good problem solving skills
