About Our Client
Our client is a government road authority responsible for managing and maintaining Western Australias road network. They play an important role in delivering safe, reliable and efficient transport infrastructure across the state, including regional areas such as Karratha. With a strong focus on safety, quality and community outcomes, our client provides an excellent opportunity to work on essential road infrastructure projects within a supportive and professional team.
What You Will Be Doing
The successful candidate will be a reliable and safety-focused Roadworker with experience in road construction, maintenance and general civil works. Duties will include road and drainage maintenance, culvert and headwall works, signage and barrier repairs, vegetation management, graffiti removal, litter collection and operating minor plant and equipment.
The role will also involve assisting with traffic management, identifying and reporting hazards, maintaining clean and safe work areas, following work instructions and completing tasks to required quality standards.
What You Will Need
- HR Drivers Licence & Experience
- Construction Induction Training Card (White card)
- First Aid (Desirable)
- Basic Worksite Traffic Management (BWTM) and Traffic Control (TC) accreditation
- Australian Citizenship / Permanent Residency.
