Mine Controller / Dispatcher
- 7/7 Roster, rotating day and night shifts
- 12.5 hr shifts
- Camp option available
WorkPac is currently seeking dedicated and skilled Mine Controller / Dispatch Operators to join our team. We have multiple positions available for various durations:
- 2x 12-month Max Term Positions
- 1x 9-month Max Term Position
About Our Client
Whitehaven Coal is Australia's largest independent coal producer and the leading coal producer in Northwest New South Wales with a lifespan of 25 years.
What You Will Be Doing
- Execute and maintain compliance to the Production Plan.
- Communicating with the Mine Control and Production Supervisors.
- Optimise haulage by identifying improvement ideas and opportunities.
- Initiate improvement and work with minimal supervision.
- Accurate and timely entry of mining data into multiple computer systems
- Maintain and optimise safe mining operations.
What You Will Need
- High level of communication ability with well-developed interpersonal skills.
- Experience controlling large fleets in a mining dispatch control role.
- Able to follow procedures whilst seeking improvement opportunities.
- Excellent communication, computer skills and comfortable with technology.
- Willingness to undergo a full criminal history check.
