About Our Client

Based within the Bowen Basin and operating since 1983, our client is a leading global provider of high quality metallurgical coal and thermal coal products to a global and local market. With a focus on collaboration, accountability, respect and excellence, mining is carried out using open cut mining methods comprising of a mix of dragline and truck/shovel and high wall mining operations. Working in partnership with the local Blackwater community, they are proud to provide support across community organisations, health care, education, sport, culture, indigenous communities and local tourism.

What Will You Be Doing

WorkPac are seeking experienced Dragline Operators to commence work on an open cut Coal Mine in the Banana Shire. You will be responsible for operating a Marion 8200 and 1370BE Draglines within the Production Department. You will be contributing to a high performing production team while always having the highest regard for safety.

The successful applicants will be working a 5/4 lifestyle roster with a PJ day. Camp and meals is fully provided with a rental subsidy available for Moura locals. Monthly Production Bonus on offer up to $1000.00. 

What You Will Need

• Minimum 2 years experience operating a Dragline (1370BE & Marion 8200 or similar) within a high production environment
• SSE signed skills list, coal board medical, Standard 11
• Current Drivers licence and right to work to work within Australia
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen
