What You Will Be Doing
The successful candidate will be a reliable and experienced Liquid Tanker Driver responsible for safely collecting and transporting liquid waste, including septic fluids, oily water, acids, and solid materials such as sand. This role involves operating tanker trucks to collect waste from various sites, connecting hoses (up to 12, max 120 metres), lifting trap or manhole covers, and monitoring the collection process before returning to depot to safely unload. The position is physically demanding, requiring approximately 50% driving and 50% work outside the vehicle, including lifting, bending, and manual handling, and requires strict adherence to safety and environmental procedures. Previous experience in liquid waste collection or a similar role is preferred.
What You Will Need
- Must hold a HRB Manual C Class Drivers Licence.
- Must be physically fit.
- Must be able to provide a clean National Police Check (NPC).
- Forklift Licence (Desirable).
