ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our leading global mining client is proud to be a leading Australian producer of premium quality hard coking coal for export steel markets within Central Queensland's Bowen Basin, with additional joint ventures in steel making coal, copper and manganese across North West Queensland and Western Australia. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

In this role you will be working as a Dump Truck Operator on a busy and productive Coal Mine based in the Middlemount Region. You will be required to operate KOM 830 dump trucks within the Production Department. You will be working 12.5 hour shifts on a straight 7/7 day and night roster. These are ongoing roles and are available for residential, DIDO or BIBO candidates.

• Operate KOM 830 dump trucks efficiently and safely.
• Perform pre-start checks and routine maintenance to ensure equipment is in optimal condition.
• Transport materials as directed by site supervisors while adhering to all safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• Previous mining experience operating Komatsu 830, 930 or 960 Dump Trucks within a Production mining setting.
• You will need to have obtained a Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical within last 2 years or be willing to attain this.
• SSE signed skills list, Current Drivers Licence & right to work in Australia
• The ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol test prior to commencement
