About Our Client:
Our client is a leading mining contractor operating across multiple gold mining projects within the Kalgoorlie region. With a strong focus on safety, production excellence, and team culture, they are seeking experienced Dump Truck Operators to join their growing operations team.
This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and safety-focused operators looking to secure ongoing work within the gold mining industry.
What You Will Be Doing:
As a Dump Truck Operator, you will be responsible for transporting materials safely and efficiently around the mine site from mining pits to designated processing and dumping areas. You will be required to operate machinery in line with production schedules and site safety procedures.
Your duties will include:
Operating CAT 777 Dump Trucks safely and efficiently
Hauling ore and waste materials across site
Following site production schedules and instructions
Conducting pre-start checks and basic equipment inspections
Maintaining a strong commitment to site safety standards and procedures
Working collaboratively within the mining operations team
Roster:
2/1 roster rotating day shift and night shift
What You Will Need:
Minimum 2 years experience as a Dump Truck Operator
CAT 777 operating experience
Current C Class Drivers Licence
Current National Police Clearance
Strong safety awareness and ability to follow site procedures
Ability to work effectively within a team environment
Highly Desirable:
Gold mining industry experience
Previous mining contractor experience (Thiess, Macmahon or similar)
