About Our Client
Middlemount Mine is an open cut mine located approximately 90km north-east of Emerald and some 7km west of the township of Middlemount in Queensland's Bowen Basin. The mine produces semi-hard coking coal and medium-volatile pulverized coal injection (PCI) coal for the export market. Mining operations consist primarily of excavator and truck and excavator mining augmented by cast and doze.

What You Will Be Doing
You will be working as a Dump Truck Operator on a coal mine in the Middlemount region. You will be required to safely operate CAT 789, 793, 794 and 797 Haul Trucks and will be doing the construction of infrastructure associated with mining production. The successful candidate will be working 12-hour shifts on a 7/7 Wednesday to Tuesday day and night shift roster. These roles are available to BIBO (Mackay, Rockhampton or Bundaberg), DIDO and residential candidates.

What You Will Need

• Experience operating CAT 789, 793, 794 and 797 Haul Trucks within a production mining environment and providing an SSE signed skills list (within 5 years).
• You will need to have a Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical or be willing to obtain.                             
• Current Drivers Licence & Right to Work in Australia.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen.
