About the Role
This residential-only role offers a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to provide vital technical support to a dynamic maintenance team. Working a lifestyle roster on 12-hour day shifts, you'll be responsible for the execution of E&I maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration tasks that keep operations running safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical disconnects and reconnects of motors for replacements.
- Conduct electrical inspections and identify potential faults.
- Execute fault finding on electrical systems and variable speed drives (VSDs).
- Replace and troubleshoot faulty VSD units as needed.
- Calibrate a wide range of instrumentation devices to operational standards.
- Undertake change-outs of instrumentation equipment in line with planned maintenance.
- Provide hands-on support and expertise to ensure safe work practices are followed.
Skills and Experience Required
- Trade qualification in Electrical or Instrumentation (Dual Trade preferred).
- Strong background in fault finding and inspections on electrical and control systems.
- Experience working with and replacing VSDs.
- Proven ability to calibrate and change out field instrumentation.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work in a residential role and contribute to a team-focused environment.
