About the Client
Our client provides specialist electrical and asset management services, including installations, high-voltage work, shutdown maintenance and backfill personnel solutions tailored to the mining and heavy-industry sectors with a strong focus on safety, reliability and project delivery excellence.
About the Role
WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our Client in Jandakot. As an estimator, you will collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, Suppliers, Subcontractors and Clients to ensure accurate estimates continue for re-occurring business and secure new project work opportunities and provide accurate and comprehensive cost estimates.
Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing project drawings, specifications, and tender documents to determine scope of work.
- Contribute to the preparation of construction schedules, methodologies, and supporting documentation.
- Prepare time, cost, materials, and labour estimates.
- Review contract conditions and handle pre-contract monitoring and reporting.
- Attend site inspections, participate in meetings, and maintain strong client and supplier relationships.
- Negotiate confidently with suppliers and subcontractors.
Skills and Experience Required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical & Instrumentation estimating in mining/resources related projects.
- Proven ability to prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- An ability to learn the needs of our clients and tailor our offers to their requirements, delivering value to their operations.
