Electrical Maintenance Engineer

About the Role:

WorkPac is currently in search of an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our esteemed client's team, based in Cape Lambert. This position is based on a FIFO 5/2, 4/3 roster from Perth.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Investigate electrical equipment failures using 5 Whys and implement corrective actions.
• Review equipment issues/designs and recommend improvements to electrical assets.
• Support quality control in loss analysis and accounting processes.
• Publish and track daily KPIs related to production-critical systems.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of asset maintenance tactics.
• Participate in strategy reviews for maintenance and reliability initiatives.

Skills and Experience:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Previous experience in the mining industry
• Strong understanding of defect elimination and downtime analysis
• Familiarity with power engineering principles
• Experience with instrumentation and control systems
• Proven ability to conduct failure investigations
• Skilled in developing and reviewing maintenance strategies and asset tactics
