About Our Client
Our client operates within the mining and heavy industry sector, delivering essential resources through safe, reliable, and efficient operations. They are known for investing in infrastructure upgrades and sustaining capital projects across their sites.
What You Will Be Doing
- Delivering electrical projects from front-end loading through to commissioning
- Working across brownfield environments and live operational sites
- Managing multiple concurrent projects and workstreams
- Coordinating contractors, trades, and technical teams
- Planning execution activities around shutdowns and operational constraints
- Ensuring compliance with safety, cost, schedule, and quality requirements
What You Will Need
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline
- Proven experience delivering electrical-focused capital projects end-to-end
- Experience within mining, heavy industry, or asset-intensive environments
- Strong stakeholder engagement and coordination skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage scope, cost, schedule, and risk
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting capability
Desirable
- Experience within Queensland coal mining
- Exposure to control systems, MCCs, DBs, and electrical infrastructure upgrades
- Familiarity with asset obsolescence and life-extension projects
