About the Role:
We are seeking experienced Electrical Supervisors for shutdown work based in Karratha, supporting major operations across the Pilbara. This role involves working 12-hour day and night shifts on a flexible roster during a busy shutdown period, with potential for ongoing work.
What You Will Be Doing:
You will be responsible for leading and coordinating electrical teams during shutdown operations, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant standards and client expectations. This includes supervising daily activities, managing workflows, maintaining high safety standards, and liaising with key stakeholders on-site to ensure successful project delivery.
What You Will Need:
- WA A Grade Electrical Licence
- Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor in mining shutdowns/projects
- Strong understanding of electrical standards and wiring rules
- Current Working at Heights certification
- Provide First Aid (LVR/CPR within 12 months)
- High Risk Work Licence (EWP)
- Valid WA C Class or HR Drivers Licence
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure shutdown environments
- Commitment to safety and company values
Desirable:
- Working knowledge of on-site statutory electrical requirements
- Schedule 26 qualification
- RTIO site inductions
- BHP site inductions
- Demonstrated use of first attack firefighting equipment
