About the Client:
Our client is a well-established provider of specialised equipment and support services to the mining and resources sector. Operating out of Perth, they supply lighting towers, power generation units, dewatering systems, and a range of critical site-support products used across major mining operations. Their business combines manufacturing, equipment hire, parts distribution, and workshop servicing, ensuring customers receive reliable, efficient solutions for every stage of a project.
What You Will Be Doing:
As an Electrical Trade Assistant, you will support electrical tradespeople with a variety of workshop and on-site tasks. This includes operating hand tools such as grinders, drills, hole saws, riveters, and step drills, as well as using linishers and grinders safely. You will assist with cable crimping, stripping, loom making, and heat shrinking, ensuring work is completed accurately and to quality standards. The role requires reading and interpreting drawings, taking precise measurements, and following work procedures to support the electrical team effectively.
What You Will Need:
- WA Drivers Licence
- Full working rights in Australia
- The ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol screening
- Experience with cable crimping, stripping, loom making and heat shrinking is essential
