About Our Client
Our client is a trusted leader in the electromechanical services industry, delivering specialised solutions for rotating electrical equipment across a wide range of sectors, including mining, utilities, and heavy industry. With a strong reputation for technical excellence and reliable service, they provide expert maintenance, repairs, and overhauls for motors, generators, and other critical assets.
About the Role:
WorkPac is currently in search of an Electrical Workshop Manager to join our esteemed client's team, based in Landsdale. This position is a full-time permanent position with our client.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a small team in a busy electric motor workshop
- Carry out AC and DC motor overhauls and repairs
- Perform AC motor rewinding as needed
- Provide hands-on technical support and guidance to junior staff
- Ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
Skills and Experience:
- Trade qualified Fitter or similar
- Extensive experience with AC and DC motor repairs, overhauls
- Rewinding Experience (Preference)
- Proven ability to lead, train, and mentor staff
- High attention to detail with a strong focus on quality
- Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communicator with a team-oriented mindset
