About Our Client:
Our client is a leading provider of electrical and instrumentation services, delivering high-quality project solutions across Australia's mining and resources sector. They are currently seeking experienced E&I Technicians / Construction Electricians to join their team on a major project at Olympic Dam. This is an excellent opportunity to secure project work with competitive pay rates while working on one of Australia's largest mining operations.
What You Will Be Doing:
As an E&I Technician / Construction Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical installation, maintenance, and commissioning activities across the project while maintaining the highest standards of safety and workmanship.
Your duties will include:
- Installing, maintaining, and testing electrical systems and equipment
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications
- Installing cable tray, cable supports, conduit, and electrical cabling
- Terminating and connecting electrical equipment
- Conducting fault finding and troubleshooting as required
- Performing testing and commissioning activities
- Working safely in accordance with site procedures and Australian Standards
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Working collaboratively within the project team to achieve production targets
Roster:
2 weeks on, 1 week off
12-hour shifts
Commencing 8th, 10th or 15th July
What You Will Need:
- Current SA Electrical Licence
- White Card
- Current Driver's Licence
- Current CPR/LVR (completed within the last 12 months)
- National Police Clearance (issued within the last 6 months)
- Previous experience as an E&I Technician or Construction Electrician on mining, construction, or industrial projects
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Working at Heights ticket
- EWP above 11 metres ticket
