About our Client
Our client is a well-established engineering and project delivery company with a strong track record across Australias mining, resources, and infrastructure sectors. They specialise in electrical, instrumentation, and control systems, supporting large-scale construction and commissioning projects.
About the role
We are seeking experienced ENI (Electrical & Instrumentation) Technicians for construction project work on a 2/1 FIFO roster at Olympic Dam and Prominent Hill. This is a hands-on role supporting the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems on major mining projects.
What you will be doing
- Perform loop checks and functional testing of field instruments, transmitters, and control valves
- Use Trex communicators and other calibration tools to verify instrument configuration and signal integrity
- Support commissioning of control systems, including PLCs and system integrator interfaces
- Troubleshoot instrumentation faults and assist with resolution alongside the commissioning team
- Complete instrumentation-related ITRs within the companys CCMS and ensure compliance with site standards and OEM specifications
What you will need
- SA Electrical License
- Recognised Instrumentation Trade Certificate
- White Card
- Current Drivers License
- CPR / LVR (completed within the last 12 months)
- National Police Clearance (issued within the last 6 months)
- Working at Heights certification
- EWP (Elevated Work Platform) licence Above 11m
- Previous experience in mining/construction within shutdown, project, maintenance, or commissioning teams
- Strong fault-finding and instrumentation knowledge
