About our Client
WorkPac is currently working with a Correction Centre based at Grafton, NSW? .
As a Registered Nurse / Enrolled Nurse, youll provide high-quality medical care and contribute to ongoing patient management for inmates. Youll be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, and specialists delivering meaningful healthcare outcomes in a secure, modern environment.?
About the Position
Key Responsibilities:
Patient assessment, care planning, and health plan management.
Emergency care and primary healthcare delivery.
Supporting mental health, chronic disease, and culturally sensitive care.
What you will need-
RN
AHPRA Registered Nurse Current and unrestricted)
Min. 4 years RN experience?(Primary health, ED or Acute, or corrections ideal. Advanced Life Support certification desirable if worked in ED
Basic Life Support / CPR .
COVID Vaccinations (Dose 1 & 2)
Availability for 14-week contracts minimum.
Own transport for commuting to site.
EN
Minimum of 2 years in Australia as a qualified Enrolled Nurse
Primary health, Corrections, Emergency AND/OR Rural and Remote nurses considered
Diploma of Nursing and unrestricted AHPRA
Current BLS Certification
National Criminal History Check
COVID Vaccination Evidence (minimum 2 doses)
Venepuncture and Cannulation experience
Ability to do shift work
Full working rights in AUS- Sponsorship not available
Skills and Experience Required
Correctional or primary healthcare background?
IV cannulation, suturing, phlebotomy, advanced resuscitation skills?
